In this paragraph, Helen Keller describes how she enjoyed her literature and composition class the most. She studied a few books such as the Bible, the governments of America and Europe, the Odes of Horace, and Latin comedy and also English Composition. She loved the composition class as it was interesting and explained well in a verbal humour by the instructor Mr. Charles Townsend Copeland. She loved his teaching because he brought literature alive in its original form and helped her connect with the fine thoughts of the writers. She also stated in that one hour of studying literature and composition, one could comprehend the eternal beauty of the literature without needless interpretation or exposition in a short span of time. She would enjoy and dwell in literary thoughts. After the lecture, she would feel that she had a chance to experience a form of perfection where spirit and form lived forever and truth and beauty were the stems of ancient time.
