Expert Answer:

Let the distance between tower and building is x m,

then tan 60 = 50/x

tan 30 = h/x, where h is the height of the building,

tan60/tan30 = (50/x)/(h/x)

h = 50tan30 /tan60

= 50/3 m = 16.67m
