Medical emergency

First Aid

Fractures

  • Stop any bleeding
  • Immobilize the fractured part
  • Apply ice on the fractured part
  • Treatment for shock 
  • Padding or Support

Poisoning

  • Allow intake of Fresh air 
  • Removal of poison from the mouth
  • Dilution of poison with water
  • Requesting directions from control centre
  • CPR or Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in case of breathing problems
  • Cleaning of body parts in case of spilling of poison

Cuts

  • Stopping the bleeding
  • Cleaning the cut
  • Application of antibiotic or ointment
  • Bandaging the cut
  • Stitches in case of deep cuts
  • Tetanus vaccination

Burns

  • Cooling the burn 
  • Bandage and pain relieve
  • No usage of cold water on severe burns

Heat wave
