group 15 elements has higher ionization enthalpy than group 16 elements this means ionization energy is decreasing across the period but it is mentioned that it is increasing as we know 15 require more energy than 16?

the higher ionization enthalpy of group 15 elemnts is because of the extra stability of half filled p orbitals
