Glass is said to be a transparent object that is it allows the light to pass through it but why then we are able to see our reflection in it as it will allow all the light tot pass through it?

we can not see our reflection in glass. we can see our reflection in mirror, as it is silvered from the back and light rays couldnt transmit,hence all the light rays are reflected back.
