Given that (x+2) and (x-3) are factors of xcube +ax+b .calculate the values of a and b.

Since X+2 and X-3 are factors of given expression that means X=-2 & X=3 will satisfy it.
therfor putting -2 & 3 in it we get
(-2)^3+(-2)a+b=0 or, -2a+b=8
3^3=3a+b=0 or , 3a+b=-27
Solving both equations
a=-7
b=-6
