Give reasons for the following. Remember to name the climate controller that is responsible for echof the given phenomenon?
(a) Mumbai recieves moderate climate throughout the year?
(b) Places situated on the windward side of the Western Ghats recieve more rainfall than those situated on the leeward side?
(c)Shimla is cooler than Delhi.

c) One of the factors which affect the climate of a place is the altitude. At a higher altitude, the atmosphere is less dense and the temperature decreases. As a result, hill stations are cooler than the mainland. Therefore Shimla is cooler than Delhi.
