The answer to all these questions is Inertia. It is the property of all bodies which is directly proportional to their mass and opposes any change in its initial state of motion.
So,
1) When we shake the tree, the leaves opposes the change in their motion of rest and thus gets detached by that force of opposition.
So is the reason of 2 and 3 and 4
