Expert Answer
1. Plants need rigid structure to support as well as to defend themselves whereas, animals do not possess any sort of cell wall since animals always move, they are not static in one particular place, therefore they need to be flexible.Therefore additional layer i.e cell wall is not required.
3. The energy currency of the cell (ATP) is made in the mitochondria during aerobic respiration. It also acts to store energy. Hence, mitochondria are called the powerhouses of the cell.
