give 5 difference between movement and locomotion
Asked by mohdazfar | 7th May, 2008, 10:37: PM
In locomotion, the entire organism is displaced from its present location to another. In movement, there need not be complete displacement of entire body, only a part of the body, such as movemnt of hand or eyelids etc.
Energy required in locomotion is much more than in movement, in a particular animal. Sum total of movements of various parts of the body leads to locomotion.
