Give 3 differences between speed and velocity.

Expert Answer:

1. Speed is a scalar and velocity is a vector. Hence, former has no direction but the later one has. 2. Speed depends on the distance traveled whereas velocity depends on the final displacement, regardless of the distance traveled. these are only two major differences depending upon the definitions of the two terms.
