Expert Answer:

Hi Arunima,  In genetic drift, the individuals of a sub population are isolated and cannot interact with the larger population. As a result of this only the few alleles in the sub population are prevalent and available for recombination. Thus the alleles accumulate making it prominent in the sub population.  Hence in each sub population different alleles are present and hence different changes accumulate in different sub population.
