The diameter and the height of the largest cone inscribed in a cube are 42 cm and 42 cm respectively.
 
Thus, the radius of the cone is 21 cm.
 
Volume of the largest cone
 
 
Therefore, Volume of the cone= 19404 cubic centimeter
 
Volume of the cube of side 42 cm =   
Thus the remaining volume of the wood left = 74088 - 19404 = 54684 cubic centimeter.
