Hologram is an image that appears to be three dimensional to our naked eye. The laser beam is split into two parts of the beam and when they recombine in photographic plate, the object beam travels a different path and disturbed by the reflecting from the outer surface of the object. The recomination of the two beams shows how the light rays are changed compared to the reference beam. The information is burnt permanently into the photographic plate by laser beams. Thus, hologram is a permanent record of what an object looks when observed from any angle.
