We can write
km/hr2 as 1km/ (1hr)2 , and then substitute for 1km = 1000m and 1hr = 3600sec
1000m/(3600sec)2 = (1/12960)m/s2
Therefore to convert from km/hr2 to m/s2 divide by 12960 and vice versa.
