For what value of x ,the equation 2x-4=11-x is satisfied ?
Please give me a written solution.

Given: 2x-4=11-x
2x-4+4=11-x+4 ... Adding 4 on both the sides
2x=15-x
2x+x=15-x+x ... Adding x on both the sides
3x=15
x=5 ... Diving by 3
Hence, the equation is satisfied for x=5.
