For reverberation to occur the distance for the light to travel should be less and reach the ear in less than 0.1 second.
Then how thunder is a prfect example of reverberation which has totravel a long distance

Yes, they are travelling at longer distance but there can be two or more waves
with a time gap of 0.1 seconds when they reach you one after the other.
