Image distance v= fu/(u-f) =10X15/5=30 cm

Now consider the diverging mirror placd at a distance from lens

The image formed by lens acts as object for mirror
Consider mirror at distance X from mirror
and v=x+15
v= fu/(u-f) ==>x^2 -39x+180=0  X=39+/- 14.1
The diverging mirror of focal length 12cm be placed at a distance of 39+/- 14.1 cm
  so that real image is formed on the source itself.
