To ceck whether f(x)=1/x is strictly increasing or decreasing function.
We calculate the first derivative of f(x),i.e f'(x)
Differentiating f(x),we get f'(x)=-1/x2
Since x2>0 for all x not equal to zero.
Thus,f'(x)<0 for all x not equal to zero.
And hence f(x) is strictly decreasing function.
