Find the lateral surface area (curved surface area) of a hollow cylinder open at the ends of length is 14 cm, the external diameter is 10 cm and the thickness is 2 cm.

Given: length (h) = 14 cm

External Diameter = 10 cm  

External Radius(R) = 5 cm,

Internal radius (r) = 5 - 2 = 3 cm

Let S be the lateral Surface area (LSA) of the hollow cylinder.
