Answer:Given : the angle of elevation of the top of a tree from a point on the ground,which 6.75m away from the foot of the tree,is 60degree.hieght of the towerand angle of elevation from observers eye who is 1.78 m
To find :hieght of the tower and angle of elevation from observers eye who is 1.78 m
 
 
 
 
In the figure above h is the required hieght and x = 1.78m and y = 6.75m
 
In triangle ABD
tan 60 = AB/BD    {tan a = ht / base}
=>31/2 = h / y
=> 31/2 = h / 6.75m 
=> h= 31/2 * 6.75=11.7m (approx)
 
In triangle ABC
tan(angle ACB) = h / x  {similarily as above}
=> angle ACB = tan -1(11.7 / 1.78 )    {using h value from above}
=> angle ACB = 81.35 degree (approx) Answer
