Find the HCF of 210 and 55 .If the HCF is expressible in the form of 210m + 55n . find m and n?

Here 210>55
 
210 = 55 × 3 + 45     
55   = 45 × 1 + 10
45   = 10 × 4 + 5     ....(i)
10   =   5 × 2 + 0
 
HCF(55, 210) = 5

From (i),
45   = 10 × 4 + 5
5   = 45 - 10 × 4
5   = 45 - (55 - 45)× 4
5   = 45 - 55 × 4 + 45 × 4
5   = 45 × 5 - 55 × 4
5   = (210 - 55 × 3) × 5 - 55 × 4
5   =  210 × 5 - 55 × 15 - 55 × 4
5   = 210 × 5 - 55 × 19     ...(ii)
 
Given that:
 
5 = 210m + 55n      ...(iii)
From (ii) and (iii)
 
m = 5 and n = -19
