Units of gas constant are energy per kelvin per mole. Write dimensions of these quantities and find the dimensions of the gas constant.
Coefficient of linear expansion is change in length per unit length per degree rise in temp. Write the corresponding formula and plug in the dimensions of all the variables to get the dimension of reqd quantity.
