Find the area of a triangular field the lengths of whose sides are 275 m, 660 m and 715 m. What is the cost of cultivating the field at the rate of Rs. 200 per hectare?

                        S       = 1 half left parenthesis a plus b plus c right parenthesis equals 1 half left parenthesis 275 plus 660 plus 715 right parenthesis equals 825
         Area of the triangle is given by

                                 =
         Thus,                   area of field = 90750 m2
         Now,       the cost of cultivating 10000m2 = Rs. 200
          The cost of cultivating the given field = Rs.200 over 10000 cross times 90750 
                                 = Rs. 1815
