Find the area of a right angled triangle if radius of its circumcircleis is 3cm & altitude drawn to the hypotenuse is 2cm.

r = Radius of circumcircle = 3cm

We know that in a right angled triangle, the circumcentre is the mid-point of hypotenuse.

So, Hypotenuse = 2(r) = 2(3) = 6cm

Now, Altitude drawn to hypotenuse = 2cm

Then, area of triangle

Syntax error from line 1 column 49 to line 1 column 73. Unexpected '<mstyle '.

Therefore, Area of the given triangle = 6cm2
