CBSE Class 12-science Answered
find most economical speed
Asked by imanumaan | 27 Nov, 2009, 03:23: PM
Expert Answer
Let C be the total cost of running the bus per hour and V be the speed in km/hr,
C = [Rs 48 / (20 km/hr)2]V2 + Rs. 180
C = 0.12V2 + 180.
As we can see the most economical speed is ZERO, since then only we get minimum expenses and those are the fixed charges.
We would request you to clarify / provide additional details so that we may answer this to the best of the ability.
