explanation on latent heat of fusion please

Expert Answer
Whenever a matter changes it's phase from solid to liquids without changing it's temperature. Then the specific heat energy associated with this phenomenon is known as latent heat of fusion. Like ice getting converted into water but temperature remain 0 celcius.
