answered-by-expert Expert Answer

Newton's third law of motion: To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Example: The flying of a bird is based on action and reaction. While flying, the bird pushes the air down with its wings to get an equal and opposite reaction in the upward direction, which helps the bird in going up.
