⭕ Explain the statement of NCERT which is boxed (attachment) There it is written chlorella is member of kingdom protista..but it's still present in algae...HOW??

  • In the five-kingdom classification, Chlorella has been included in Kingdom Protista. Kingdom Protista includes unicellular eukaryotes. 
  • Earlier, Chlorella were placed in the kingdom Algae. However, according to R. H. Whittaker's classification, the classification depends not only on morphology or physiology but also on phylogeny.
