lymphatic system consists of lymph, lymph nodes, lymphatic capillaries, lymph vessels which finally open into larger veins.
Plasma, proteins and blood cells escape from blood into the intercellular spaces in the tissues to form lymphy.
Lymph is also involved in transportation. It carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extracellular space back into the blood.
