explain the functions of human brain

Human brain carries out several important functions like:
i) It is the control centre of the body. It is also the central information processing organ.
ii) It receives information, analyses this information and sends out processed messages.
iii) Brain is important for memory.
iv) It controls voluntary movements, balance of the body, thermoregulation, circadian rhythms, hunger and thirst and human behaviour.
v) It also controls the functioning of vital involuntary organs and several endocrine glands.
