Explain Pythagoras property and its inverse theorem.

The Pythagoras theorem states that:

"In a right triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides".

i.e., Hypotenuse2 = Base2 + Perpendicular2

or h2 = b2 + p2



The converse of the statement is that:

"If the Pythagoras property holds, then the triangle must be right-angled".
