Lustre:
Metals in their pure state have a shining surface.
This property is called metallic lustre.
Metals can be polished to give high reflective surface.
Hardness:
Metals are generally hard. But metals like sodium and potassium are soft and can be cut with knife.
All the metals are not equally hard. Metals like iron, copper, aluminium are very hard.
