explain how the movement of leaves of a sensitive plants different from that of a shot towards light

The movement of a shoot towards light is a tropic movement whereas movement of leaves of a sensitive plant is a nastic movement i.e. it is not a directional movement. In nastic movements, plant cells change shape by changing the amount of water in them, resulting in swelling or shrinking, and in changing shapes.
