Expert Answer:

Helen Keller’s love for reading had not limits. While reading a book she felt free from her limitations. They let her spirit and imagination soar in the boundless skies of creativity. She preferred fiction as they gave her an opportunity to dive into a new world which was different from the one she lived. She preferred reading a book alone as this gave her the freedom to enjoy it at her own pace. Books not only entertained her but also gave educated her greatly. She relied on books like the Bible and Whitman's poetries for confidence and hope in times of doubt when there was no one to reassure her.
