The social outcome of democracy are:
- The majority always needs to work with the minority so that governments function to represent the general view.
- Rule by majority means that in case of every decision or in case of every election, different persons and groups may and can form a majority.
- Democracy has succeeded in ensuring the dignity and freedom of its citizens.
- Because of democracy, women could be able to wage a struggle for staking their claim to equality.
- Caste based inequalities have been reducing in the society.
