Expert Answer:

If the rotation axis is along the either of the two perpenditcular sides of a right angled triangle, then only it's possible to generate a cone. AND THE HYPOTENUSE WILL ALWAYS BE THE SLANT HEIGHT. A cone is possible if it's also isoceles right angled triangle, but then the radius will not be equal to H, the hypotenuse.
