There are few errors which are caused due to some external factors. They include change in temperature, pressure, humidity etc. If temperature of an apparatus varies during experiment then it will lead to error in reading. So we have to maintain a constant temperature.
For example the resistance of a wire will decrease on increasing its temperature due to which it may give different readings for current at same applied voltage.
