ELECTRONEGATIVITY WHAT IS IT ??

Electronegativity of a substance is its power to attract shared electrons.
Electron gain enthalapy is the energy change when electron is added to the outermost shell of an isolated gaseous atom.
Electronegativity increases along the period and it decreases down the group.
Electron gain enthalapy becomes more negative as we go across the period .
