electric potential and potential difference

Expert Answer:

Electric potential is defined at a point and it is the amount of work done in moving a unit positive test charge from infinity to that point; while electric potential difference is defined between two points (say B and A) and it is the amount of work done in moving a unit positive test charge from one point to the other i.e., from A to B.
