8. What is the turning effect on a body when (1) the magnitude of force is increased? (2) the distance of point application of force increased?

Expert Answer
You must know that turning effect of force or moment of force is define as T= F×l
Where f is force applied and l is the distance from pivoted point
So i ) if we increase the force the turning effect will also increase and vice versa
ii ) and if we increase the ditadistthe turning effect will also increase or vice versa.
