Dynastic succession is posing a challenge to a political party because:
- The top positions are always controlled by members of one family.
- Dynastic succession does not allow a deserving candidate to rise to a position of leadership
- The dynasyic leaders in top position favour people who do not question them or criticise them. They do not allow deserving members to occupy top positions in the party.
- Because of the above reasons, the country is deprived of the deserving leaders who are not allowed to reach high positions in the party or the government by the dynastic parties as these usually allow family members and close relatives to occupy most important place in the political party or the government.
