Graph meets the coordinate axes when one of the coordinates in 0.

The graph meets x-axis when y coordinate is 0

So, 3x+2y=6 meets x-axis when y=0

Therefore, 3x=6 i.e. x=2

The graph meets y-axis when x coordinate is 0

So, 3x+2y=6 meets y-axis when x=0

Therefore, 2y=6 i.e. y=3
