the direction of magnetic field at the centre of a current carrying circular coil depends on whether the current is flowing in clockwise or anticlockwise direction. if the current is in clockwise direction then the magnetic field would be normally inward to the plane of the coil and  if the current is in anti clockwise direction then the magnetic field would be normally outward to the plane of the coi.
