does frequency of light change when the medium changes?Why?

Dear student,
the speed of phase velocity of the light changes and the wavelength changes suich that the frequency = speed / wavelength remains constant
the lioght will bend, angle with normal will change, based on the refractive index of the medium, the speed of the velocity will change, the wavelength of light wave will change but frequency remains constant.
