Does flow of electrons take place from one body to another? or is it the simultaneous transfer of unequal no. of electrons from both the neutral bodies to gain a charge?

Expert Answer:

Electrons flow when there is a potential difference between two points/bodies.
Hence, if one body is at a higher potential than the other, then the electrons will flow from the body at higher potential to the body at lower potential.
