displacement vector of the body in planar motion depends upon the choice of origin of the coordinate axis. is this statement true or false? and why????

Expert Answer:

Dear student,
This statement  is true.

Here, you can see that there are two coordinate system differing in origin. Radial motion with constant velocity v in one frame is not radial in other.

Angular rate Θ=0, but Θ' is not equal to 0.

Hope this helps.
