Differentiate between minimum deviation and deviation.

The change in the path of incident light after refraction is called deviation ( in case of prisms, it is measured in terms of angle i.e. angular deviation ). Now, for a particular value of angle of incidence , it is found that deviation is minimum, this is known as minimum deviation. It also depends on material of prism, angle of prism and wavelength of light.
