An acute disease develops quickly and lasts for a short period of time only where as a chronic disease lasts for a longer period of time, sometimes even for a lifetime.
An acute disease does not cause long term bad effect on our health where as a chronic disease has a drastic long term effect on our health.
Examples of acute diseases are cold, cough, sore throat, influenza, etc. Examples of chronic diseases are cardio-vascular diseases, tuberculosis, diabetes etc
Kindly post each query separately.
