Differentiare between coomunicable & non-communicable diseases?

Communicable diseases spreads from one person to another whereas non-communicable diease does not spread from one person to another. Communicable diseases, also called infectious diseases are caused by pathogens. Non-communicable disease may or may not be caused by pathogens. Contact should usually be avoided between the patient and healthy person in communicable disease. No such precaution is needed in non-communicable disease.
Example of communicable diease - Chicken pox, influenza.
Example of non-communicable diease - Arthritis, cancer
